Keeving is relatively unknown here in the US but many cidermakers in France and some in England have been keeving for years. This ancient method creates a flavor unlike any, finishing with a naturally sweet cider that holds the apple flavor and shows off your fruit's best qualities.

Come learn one more tool to add to your toolbelt. 10 cidermakers from the NWCA were in Normandy, Brittany, and Somerset in May, learning the ins and outs of keeving and they want to share what they've learned just in time for you to play with this technique this season. This class will be taught by Marcus Robert of Tieton Cider Works and Kevin Van Reenan of Pear Up.

Thanks to Renaissance Orchards, a company of Cider Supply, LLC, each attendee will receive a keeving kit!

Sponsored by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
